| We use 2 timbers for our harps.... Australian Red Cedar (not to be confused with Western Red Cedar) and Northern Silky Oak. |

| <<<Not all Cedar is as well figured as this but we try and match the planks accordingly. If planks have different figuring, then we place the best on the sides of the harp. |

| <<< This side stave has some "fiddleback" grain in it. It is also rare and is only used in the Body of a harp, not in the Bow, as the grain is usually short and not suitable for the stress on a Bow..... |
