Denwar harps....Timber Used.
We use 2 timbers for our harps....

Australian Red Cedar (not to be confused with Western Red Cedar) and
Northern Silky Oak.
AUSTRALIAN RED CEDAR
NORTHERN SILKY OAK
<<<Not all Cedar is as well figured
as this but we try and match the
  planks accordingly. If planks have
different figuring, then we place the
best on the sides of the harp.
This harp bow has some "flare" in it,
and is attractive, but rare....... ???>>>>
<<< This side stave has some
"fiddleback" grain in it. It is also
rare and is only used in the Body of
a harp, not in the Bow, as the grain
is usually short and not suitable for
  the stress on a Bow.....
<<< This is  well figured graining on this
harp Bow ......much Silky Oak  is
like this and some is even more figured
  like the Stave below.....

You can check out the description of
  these timbers in  the "specifications"
